Emily Wood

Emily is a Certified Massage Therapist who has been practicing since 2013 and is committed to providing highly individualized, therapeutic care. She believes massage is far more than a luxury—it is personalized treatment rooted in understanding each client’s unique needs. Emily specializes in a variety of modalities, including deep tissue, sports, Thai, Swedish, myofascial, trigger point, and cupping therapy. With each session, her goal is to help clients better understand their bodies and experience the difference between restrictive and released tissue. Through focused, intentional work, Emily supports improved movement, posture, and body awareness that carries beyond the massage room.
Erin Alamed

Erin grew up playing soccer and competing in karate tournaments, but lost touch with fitness in her twenties. Four years ago, she rediscovered her love for movement through group fitness and now can’t imagine life without it. Erin believes fitness should be fun, empowering, and accessible, and she’s passionate about helping others find the style of movement that excites them most. With a strong focus on proper form and intentional movement, she ensures participants get the most out of every exercise while staying safe and confident. Known for her infectious energy and encouragement, Erin brings motivation, positivity, and high vibes to every class and is always excited to help clients feel stronger and more capable.
Jack Visco

Born and raised in Alaska, Jack is a family nurse practitioner and NASM-certified personal trainer who brings both medical knowledge and a lifelong passion for movement to the Ethos team. An exercise enthusiast, he enjoys soccer, cycling, rock climbing, rowing, and snow sports of all kinds. Jack’s training approach emphasizes intensity, proper technique, and injury resistance, with the goal of helping clients build strength safely and confidently. In his group fitness classes, you’ll be challenged with dynamic, functional movements while receiving clear, supportive coaching on form. Don’t be surprised if you walk away stronger—and with a little extra anatomy knowledge too.
Liza Stone

Liza grew up in South Burlington, Vermont, where fitness has always been a central part of her life. Throughout her school years, she focused on running and track, and in high school discovered a passion for weight training that evolved into competitive powerlifting. With a deep love for outdoor adventure, Liza brings both discipline and enthusiasm to her work. She is certified in personal training and holistic nutrition through NASM and IIN, and focuses on building strength, preventing injury, and fostering healthy, sustainable relationships with food and fitness. Liza is excited to help clients of all ages and abilities experience confidence, food freedom, and empowerment through movement. Working with Liza, you’ll be challenged through thoughtfully designed, goal-driven workouts that emphasize proper form, mental focus, and long-term strength.
Rachel Adams

Rachel is a NASM-certified personal trainer and running coach with a Master’s degree in Physical Activity & Wellness Science from the University of Vermont. A mountain athlete and dog mom, her goal is to help people build strong, resilient, mountain-ready bodies so they can keep doing what they love for years to come. Her training focuses on functional movement patterns that translate beyond the gym and into everyday life, delivered through thoughtful, progressive programming. Rachel’s coaching style is supportive, educational, and empowering, with a dose of humor. She uses a body-neutral, non-diet approach that emphasizes performance, capability, and how you feel over appearance or size.
Eamon Friend

Eamon is an ACSM-certified personal trainer, USA Weightlifting coach, and lifelong strength enthusiast. Growing up in Burlington, he didn’t discover lifting until his early twenties, when he experienced firsthand how powerful strength training can be for both mental and physical health. His interest in coaching deepened after seeing the impact strength training had on his parents and grandparents later in life, reinforcing his belief that anyone can benefit from strength and conditioning. Eamon works with clients on strength, mobility, and injury resistance while building sustainable habits that support both immediate goals and long-term health. He meets each client where they are to create the right challenge.
Casey Willard

Casey is a certified massage therapist with a holistic, client-centered approach to bodywork. Originally from Western North Carolina, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University before a term with AmeriCorps brought her to Vermont, where she quickly felt at home. Her path into massage therapy was shaped by years in community mental health and continued training in yoga, Enneagram coaching, and Reiki energy work. Casey completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training through Yoga Farm Ithaca and graduated from the Wellness Massage Institute as a Certified Massage Therapist. Her massage style is slow, flowing, and targeted, with pressure tailored to individual needs and techniques drawn from Reiki and Shiatsu to calm the nervous system and support the body’s natural ability to heal.
Chelsy Barber

Chelsy is passionate about helping clients discover their potential by addressing muscle imbalances, minimizing nagging pain, building mental and physical strength, and having fun along the way. She believes in working collaboratively with a broader health and wellness community to ensure clients receive well-rounded care and is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skill set to deliver high-quality training. An ACE-certified personal trainer with a background in applied psychology, Chelsy developed a strong interest in functional strength training after college. She has worked with a wide range of clients and is especially passionate about empowering women to feel confident in their own skin through educational, intentional programming that helps clients move with purpose.
